Is Healer an all-ages space?
- Yes, Healer is suitable for all ages, and we love when kids get to explore the magic of our art installations! However, we are not babysitters and parents/guardians are ultimately responsible for the safety of the minors in attendance.
- If you're planning on bringing a child to a concert at Healer, we recommend noise-cancelling headphones as the music can be quite loud.
- Some events in the space are 18+, but that information is noted on the show flyer.
Where are you guys?
- Healer is located at 3631 E Raymond Avenue! We are in an unassuming strip of businesses connected to the CDL facility. We always tell people "it's the parking lot BEHIND the autozone". There are also two large triangular pillars near our entryway. Don't worry, you'll find us.
Can I bring in outside food/drink?
- Healer does not allow any outside food or drink in the venue.
- We have a beer & wine bar "The Sink" located in the back left of the venue for those 21+ and for those under 21 we have water, soda, and energy drinks available for purchase at the front desk. Small snacks are available for purchase at both locations, and there is also a free water cooler area. - Reusable water bottles are welcome and encouraged, but they must be completely emptied before being brought in.
- We make almost all of our profit from bar sales, so buying a beer truly helps this place keep running!
Do you allow moshing?
- We host a lot of punk and hardcore here at Healer, and we know getting in the pit is a huge part of the experience. However, moshing or participating in a pit is AT YOUR OWN RISK.
- If you are showing unnecessary/targeted aggression in the pit, you will be warned and then removed if the behavior continues.
- We're also not big fans of stage-diving or crowd-surfing considering our low ceilings and many decorations, so please treat the space with respect and try not to destroy anything.
BOOKING FAQs
How do I book an event at Healer?
- All booking inquiries should be sent to booking@healerdiy.com - we do not answer DMs via instagram.
- Shows are generally booked 3-4 months in advance, with weekends often booked 6+ months out - so please plan accordingly.
- Your email should include your band name, genre, links to relevant live videos / music (bandcamp preferred), a few requested dates, and ideally a few local bands that you've contacted.
- If you're having trouble finding locals for your bill, you can refer to this spreadsheet of local music (this is non-exhaustive, and not always up-to-date, but it's better than nothing!)
How do I rent Healer for a private event?
Rental inquiries should also be sent to booking@healerdiy.com as we likely will need a staff member or two to be present at your event. Rental cost is determined on a case-by-case basis, and we're always happy to work something out to fit your budget. Events we've hosted in the past include:

Why didn't you respond to my email?
- We do our very best to respond timely to all booking inquiries, however we are an extremely small team and things can sometimes slip through the cracks. If you sent an email that was clearly an "insert venue name here" template or an email that didn't include the info mentioned above we may not respond. Feel free to always give us a "friendly bump" email if you feel we've missed you.
